COMMUNITY PARK CONCEPT 1
This concept for a municipal park draws inspiration from local heritage and landmarks to transform the site of a demolished building into a public gathering space that exudes pride in the community. It features a community Christmas tree, bridge inspired by historic rapids, a community industry information area, small gathering space and seating for small performances, ample street-side seating by way of benches, screening of unsightly adjacent buildings by plant material, and shade opportunities and greening of the downtown with plenty of proposed trees.
